Good bye & Good Luck, Ms. Kristin!

This weekend we have to say goodbye to our wonderful Ms. Kristin, as she will be moving to Louisiana with her family. Kristin Jones taught at Corvallis Academy of Ballet for nearly a decade, and during that time she taught almost every single class that our studio offers, while also working as the Resident Choreographer for Willamette Apprentice Ballet, our nonprofit performing branch. Kristin also frequently choreographed for and performed in the Corvallis editions of Mike Barber’s Ten Tiny Dances, and she was the choreographer for Albany Civic Theatre’s summer camp for the past several years. Kristin is a wonderful teacher and a talented choreographer, and she is leaving a big hole in the heart of the Corvallis and Albany dance communities. Hopefully Kristin will visit Corvallis Academy of Ballet this summer as a guest teacher- until then, ‘Merde!’ to Ms. Kristin and her family for their new life in Louisiana!
