Audition Registration is now OPEN for the Corvallis performance of Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet. Corvallis Academy of Ballet will once again be the host studio for auditions and rehearsals; the performance will be at the LaSells Stewart Center on the OSU campus. Auditions are open to dancers who are 6-17 years old, all technique levels are welcome: if you register and pay the $50.00 fee, the Audition Directors will find a role for you.
Auditions: Wednesday, September 3rd, 2024, 4pm-8pm
First Rehearsals (w/ Audition Directors): Thursday, September 4th, 2024, 4pm-8pm
Studio rehearsals with CAB Instructors will be held on Fridays, 4pm-7pm, and/or Saturdays, 1:30pm-3:00pm, September 13th-November 9th. There might be some weekday evening rehearsals for the older, advanced dancers.
Performance: Friday, November 15th, 2025, 7pm, at the LaSells Stewart Center.
To register for the Corvallis auditions:
*Because space is very limited backstage at LaSells Stewart Center, an absolute maximum of 50 dancers will be permitted to register for this Corvallis performance: register early!
Summer Session 2024 starts on Monday, June 24th, and will run for 6 weeks, through August 3rd.
Please note the following updates to our Summer Session schedule:
Preballet II & Ballet I have been combined into one class on Saturdays, 10:45am-12:00pm. This class is for beginner dancers, ages 5-7 years old.
Ballet II and Ballet III have been combined into one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00am-12:30pm. This class is for beginner/intermediate dancers, ages 7-13 years old.
Spaces are still available in all our Summer Session classes; please contact us right away to register!

Congratulations to graduating high school senior, Greta Koegler: Greta will be attending Pacific University, majoring in Kinesiology/pre-Physical Therapy. She will compete in Track and Field for Pacific University, and she will continue to dance with Pacific Dance Ensemble.
The Saturday Farmers’ Market on First Street in downtown Corvallis starts on Saturday, April 15th and will be held every Saturday, 9am-1pm, from now until mid November.
Corvallis Academy of Ballet Saturday students should please allow for additional driving and parking time on Saturdays, to make sure that you are on-time for your classes. Thank you! 🩰
